Robosoft Technologies is proud to show its commitment to the Clean India initiative—Swachh Bharat Abhiyan—by donating six e-auto rickshaws to the Udupi District Panchayat. In this first-of-a-kind initiative in the district, e-auto rickshaws will go door-to-door in various gram panchayats of Udupi district to collect garbage and waste.

The e-auto rickshaws were formally handed over to Udupi District Panchayat in the Udupi campus of Robosoft at a function held in the presence of Mr Ravi Teja Bommireddipalli, CEO & MD of Robosoft Technologies, Dr K. VidyaKumari I.A.S., Deputy Commissioner of Udupi and Mr Prateek Bayal I.A.S., CEO of Udupi Zilla Panchayat.

At the event, Mr Ravi Teja said: “Robosoft is committed to giving back to the society. We are glad to support this initiative through our CSR programme.”

Dr K. VidyaKumari appreciated various CSR initiatives undertaken by Robosoft and opined that electric auto-rickshaws will help the district authorities to manage the waste collection process more effectively and marks a great step towards environmental sustainability.

Mr Prateek Bayal outlined the entire waste management process in the district and appreciated Robosoft’s efforts in the Clean India initiative. He also commented that the Udupi district stands as a model in many ways in waste management in India.

Robosoft aims to set a benchmark in sustainable and scalable waste management solutions at the grassroots level by utilizing electric vehicles. These e-auto rickshaws, powered by electric batteries, reduce carbon emissions while enabling systematic waste collection.

As part of our ongoing CSR project, EMBRACE, the e-cycle caravan, equipped with state-of-the-art amateur radio technology, will traverse the Coastal Karnataka region. This initiative aims to strengthen communication infrastructure and disaster response capabilities in the area.

We are proud to support the Indian Education Society’s College of Architecture (IESCOA), Mumbai. As part of the program, IESCOA organized a three-day public exhibition in Mumbai (6th – 8th December 2024) showcasing its students’ extensive study and research. The exhibition celebrated the ecologically sensitive temples of the Konkan region, emphasizing their architectural richness, cultural significance, and traditional practices. Students transformed their research into a meticulously curated book to create social awareness and inspire the protection of these timeless heritage sites for future generations.

The book was officially launched in the presence of our Managing Director and CEO, Ravi Teja Bommireddipalli, along with other distinguished dignitaries. Additionally, Vikram Kalle, AVP – Design Labs, represented Robosoft Technologies at the event, honoring the occasion and the extraordinary work of the students. The students showcased their research through a vibrant photo wall, intricate models, and immersive installations, bringing their study to life during a public exhibition.

We are pleased to announce that we have been re-audited and awarded an updated version of the internationally recognized ISO 9001:2015 certification for effective Quality Management System. The audit was reconducted in February 2023, and we have been issued this certificate in March 2024.

In addition, we have also been awarded the updated version of ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification in April 2024 with existing capabilities for information security management system (ISMS) updated with Design, Development, Testing, Maintenance of applications, Embedded engineering, Building Information Modeling (BIM), Digital consulting services, and Support services.

We received ISO certificates in 2023 as well for maintaining quality standards throughout our services. These certificates are hallmarks of our commitment to continuously deliver excellence to all our clients.

According to the ISO Standards website, the ISO 9001 standard is based on several quality management principles, including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, a process-oriented approach, and continual improvement.

The ISO 27001 certification is about IT security, cybersecurity, and privacy protection. The ISO/IEC 27001:2022 update introduces new Information Security Controls and enhances existing ones, with major changes including:

• Using Threat Intelligence: This shift from a reactive to a proactive security approach involves collecting actionable information about cyber threats. It enhances visibility and understanding of attackers’ methods, aiding in the implementation of effective measures to neutralize and prevent emerging cybersecurity threats.
• Spotlight on Cloud Services: The update emphasizes the use of cloud services, introducing new preventive measures to manage associated information security risks. It strengthens controls over accessing, using, maintaining, and exiting from cloud infrastructure.
• Strengthen Secure Software Coding Practices: Establishing coding standards and best practices, such as testing, code reviews, and safe API usage, to ensure secure software that minimizes the attack surface and prevents data breaches and other security incidents.
• Enhance Data Privacy and Protection: Implementing measures to protect Personally Identifiable Information (PII), preventing identity theft, fraud, and other crimes.

In a momentous collaboration between Udupi district’s cooperative societies and Padmashali Nekara Prathisthana, a significant development was taken towards the revitalization of Udupi Handloom sarees funded by NABARD and Robosoft Technologies (through CSR initiative). This demonstrates corporate responsibility and cultural preservation. Under the guidance of Ratnakar Indrali, president of Padmashali Nekara Prathisthana, the initiative aimed at meeting the rising demand for GI tagged Udupi sarees while empowering local women artisans.

The inauguration of this program was honored by Udupi MLA, Deputy Commissioner, zilla panchayat CEO and many other eminent personalities. Robosoft Technologies, in commitment towards doing social good, played a vital role by contributing to a CSR fund aimed at revitalizing Udupi sarees.

Through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, we allocated substantial funds toward key aspects of the project. This included the restoration and enhancement of training facilities, acquisition of handlooms, and provision of training and stipends for women artisans undergoing skill development programs. The comprehensive allocation of resources amounted to Rs. 32.8 Lakhs, highlighting Robosoft’s commitment to community welfare and cultural heritage preservation.

The successful inauguration of the renovated training center, combined with the distribution of stipends to trainees, marked a significant milestone in Udupi’s cultural journey. The Udupi District Health Office is taking a significant step towards sustainable healthcare services and green energy by soliciting funds to install five-kilovolt (kV) solar systems in designated Primary Health Centres (PHCs). With a focus on delivering reliable healthcare services, especially ensuring the uninterrupted power supply for critical healthcare infrastructure while encouraging environmental responsibility, this initiative seeks support from corporate partners who share the same vision.

According to the District Health Officer of Udupi, this initiative aims to improve the critical healthcare infrastructure of the district while promoting environmental sustainability. With 15 solar-powered PHCs already among its 71 healthcare institutions, Udupi is well on its way to fortifying its healthcare infrastructure through these renewable energy initiatives. Robosoft Technologies is one of the partners committed to contributing Rs. 2 Lakhs each for installing solar systems at five selected PHCs around Udupi, mostly in rural areas. Out of those 5, the five-kilovolt (kV) solar system was installed in one PHC located at Basruru (near Kundapura), marking a significant step towards green energy initiative in the district’s healthcare infrastructure.

By installing 5 kV solar systems in select PHCs, the project will solve the problem of power shortages that impede critical medical services, ensuring continuous power for life-saving equipment, vaccine refrigeration, lighting, and communication devices. The project aims to provide several benefits, including cost efficiency, environmental stewardship, uninterrupted power access, and community engagement.
