With a mission to help other creative professionals and hobbyists discover their inner talent, the Design Labs of Robosoft Technologies hosted its first ever Behance UI/UX Portfolio Reviews in Mumbai on 14th May.
“If your product’s emotion is aggressive, your design needs to reflect it. Fonts, colors, tone of voice – everything” – Dean Gonsalves
Dean Gonsalves, the National Creative Director at Robosoft, kicked off the event with an inspirational talk on “Understanding emotions to help design human-centric mobile experiences”. Dean spoke at length on “why do we love the things we love” to help the designers understand the emotional connect we have with various designs. The talk ended with a Q&A session for the participants to clear their doubts.
The portfolio review followed the Q&A session where attendees broke off into small groups to present their app design portfolio and get individual feedback from our design experts like Vikram Kalle, Nilesh Singh and Chetan Sharma.
Behance UI/UX Portfolio Review is a unique opportunity for the designers to gain an in-depth knowledge and detailed feedback on their creative work. Robosoft plans to conduct similar events once every two months to help motivated UI/UX designers further enhance their craft.
Take a look at what the participants had to say about the Behance UI/UX Portfolio Reviews:
Hey @deangonsalves , your talk on the imp of EQ in design during today’s @Robosoft @Behance Review event was my key takeaway for the day.

Having designed more than 1400 beautiful apps for our prestigious clients, it’s a pleasure to share our experiences and best practices with the design community. And this is one of the reasons why we often host design events like Behance and DesignNext at frequent intervals.
Our thanks to Dean Gonsalves and his design team for hosting the event successfully and guiding the budding designers in the right direction. We look forward to hosting more such events in the future.
