Tommy Hilfiger bot launched
Even after few months of its release, Facebook’s chatbot platform hasn’t really taken off for various reasons. However, the company is trying to change this with a new bot from the highly revered fashion brand, Tommy Hilfiger. Named as TMY.GRL, the artificial intelligent powered bot will promote the launch of the brand’s new Fall 2016 line and its TommyXGigi [Hadid] collection. Will the chatbot, TMY.GRL, be able to lure customers into providing a seamless digital commerce experience of the future? Only an interaction with the bot can answer this.
iOS 10 and watchOS 3 coming soon
At the recently organized iPhone 7-press event, Apple confirmed the arrival of its new operating systems — iOS 10 and watchOS — on September 13. The new iOS will bring a number of enhancements to the iPhone, including the ability for Siri to work with third party apps and an App Store for iMessage. In addition to that watchOS 3 will also be available to Apple Watch users with a dramatic improvement in software, SOS features, improvement for developers and more.
iPhone camera spells trouble for DSLR
The new and already powerful camera of iPhone is likely to become even more powerful with Instagram’s upcoming update. Some of the new features specific to the new iPhone 7 camera would be the ability to stay in the 2X optical zoom offered by the camera, redesigned filters, converting photos to GIFs and other enhancements. iPhone’s camera capabilities are already quite well known and with an additional support from Instagram iPhone can give a tough competition to DSLR cameras.
Microsoft working on Skype Teams
With the increasing pattern of working with teams across different cities all around the globe, managing team communication would have been very difficult in the absence of apps like Slack. Looking at this lucrative opportunity, Microsoft is now working on Skype Teams, a group chat app for business that will be integrated with its Office 365 suite making it easier for teams to participate in discussions, share files and do more.
