Apple fixes vulnerability attack
Just a few weeks after the announcement of its bug bounty program, Apple faced a vulnerability attack that was capable of collecting details such as passwords, contact lists, text messages, track users and also record calls. According to The New York Times, investigators discovered that a company called the NSO Group (an Israeli outfit that sells software that invisibly tracks a target’s mobile phone) was responsible for the intrusions. In response, Apple issued an emergency update, iOS 9.3.5 last week, which fixes these vulnerabilities.
YouTube redesigns its TV app
With people gravitating more towards watching entertainment and sports on smart TVs (except the Apple TV), it was about time for YouTube to update its TV application. According to some reports, users have complained about the removal of features like trophies and challenge programs that motivated them to keep fit. Google Wallet gets automatic transfer option
There has been a growing wave of interest in cashless mobile payments. In its transition to become a peer-to-peer payments app, Google has pushed a new update that allows you to transfer funds automatically to your bank account. The automatic transfer option would drastically cut down the time taken for the cash to be available in your bank account. However, those who want to keep the money in their Google Wallet they can do so.
